Device warranty

P06 · Revision 2

Device warranty and product care

The warranty for your device

All AURA device models carry a 12-month commercial warranty from delivery for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship arising during normal use. Coverage includes the necessary parts and labour. Scentric® handles claims through support@scentric.ae and coordinates supplier repair.

This warranty is additional to mandatory rights against Scentric® as the seller. You can use P05 for defective or non-conforming goods even where a manufacturer also provides support. We will not refer you away and treat our supplier relationship as your responsibility.

Any mandatory rule on the warranty start date, replacement treatment or extension for covered repair or delay periods remains applicable. We will record relevant receipt and service dates and apply the required extension. Supplier terms cannot reduce a mandatory right or the commercial coverage stated here.

This policy does not reduce warranty rights or any longer warranty promised under the terms applicable when the customer purchased.

Covered faults and causal exclusions

Manufacturing defects are covered during normal use. Misuse or accidental damage is excluded only where it caused the fault. Incorrect voltage, unauthorized modification, incompatible liquid or improper cleaning may be relevant to a particular failure, but an unrelated issue does not void every claim. We will explain the factual basis for an exclusion.

Normal consumption of fragrance liquid is not a device defect. Leakage, faulty dispensing, unsafe operation or failure to meet an agreed specification must be assessed on the facts. No exclusion removes a remedy that the law requires.

Getting device support

Contact support@scentric.ae with your purchase reference, device model, serial or hardware version where available, a description of the problem and any relevant error indication. We may suggest safe, model-specific checks. We will not ask you to open a mains-powered device, bypass a safety feature or continue using equipment that appears unsafe.

If inspection or collection is needed, we will give the approved instructions and explain the expected next step. We will explain the expected repair or replacement steps and provide updates; no unverified repair-completion deadline is promised. We will record the date the device is received and returned and explain how any applicable warranty extension is calculated.

Everyday care

Use only the voltage, adapter, installation position and liquid compatibility stated in the supplied instructions. Place the device on a stable surface or have it installed as required for that model, away from water, heat and locations where it can be knocked over. Do not obstruct ventilation or outlet paths.

Switch off and disconnect the device before cleaning or changing a container where the manual requires it. Use only the approved cleaning method; do not introduce water, solvents or other liquids into the mechanism unless the instructions expressly allow them. Keep required service parts and receipts, but do not treat missing outer packaging as automatic loss of a legal remedy.

If liquid leaks, the device overheats, a cable is damaged, there is an unusual electrical smell, or operation appears unsafe, stop use and disconnect power if safe. Follow P07 and contact support. Routine care instructions do not replace product-specific labels, hazard information or the supplied manual.

Fragrance liquids

Fragrance liquids are handled under P05 for defects and conformity, and under P07 for safe use and storage. A device warranty does not establish that every fragrance liquid is compatible with every model. Check the stated compatibility before filling a device.
